The Garbage Pail Kids Movie was released in August 1987 by Atlantic Releasing Corporation, adapted from the controversial Topps trading card series that had scandalized parents and delighted children throughout the mid-1980s. Directed by Rod Aronson, the film arrived at the height of the cards' cultural moment and promptly earned an almost universal critical drubbing, yet its sheer audacity as a live-action practical effects production has secured it a lasting cult following among collectors of outsider cinema.

This cell, titled Valerie Vomit and Windy Winston, captures Sue Tally and Sue Rossitto performing as Valerie Vomit alongside Phil Fondacaro as Greaser Greg, shot from an overhead angle against a distinctive purple-lit environment. The three frames preserve a continuous moment from this sequence, offering a rare close look at the elaborate animatronic costuming that defined the film's singular and deeply strange visual identity.
