The Garbage Pail Kids Movie, released in August 1987 through Atlantic Releasing Corporation, arrived at the height of the Garbage Pail Kids trading card craze and became one of the more notorious productions of the decade, earning a PG-13 rating and considerable controversy for its deliberately grotesque humor aimed at children. It remains a singular artifact of late-1980s counter-culture merchandising translated to live-action film.

This cell, confirmed as Valerie Vomit, captures three frames from an overhead shot on a wooden surface, with the character in her recognizable blue and white costume. The close framing and slight expression shift between frames suggest adjacent pulls from a single continuous take. Performers Debbie Lee Carrington and Terri Benaron both contributed to bringing Messy Tessie to life, with frame-level face recognition distinguishing Valerie Vomit across this sequence.
