FILM NOTES

Pulp Fiction was released by Miramax Films in October 1994 and arrived as a seismic event in American cinema. Quentin Tarantino's interlocking crime narrative redefined independent filmmaking, demonstrated that nonlinear storytelling could reach mainstream audiences, and launched a decade of imitators. Its dialogue, structure, and performances entered the cultural vocabulary almost immediately, and the film remains a fixed reference point for the era.

This cell captures Jules Winnfield during the apartment confrontation sequence, one of the film's most charged passages. The low camera angle emphasizes his commanding presence, and the extended arm with downward-pointing hand is immediately recognizable. The adjacent frame records a subtle shift in motion, offering the collector a rare glimpse of the performance unfolding across two discrete moments of 35mm film.

This original motion picture film element has been examined and authenticated by Crown Grading in partnership with National Film Vault, and encapsulated for archival preservation.
