FILM NOTES

Pulp Fiction was released by Miramax Films in October 1994, written and directed by Quentin Tarantino. The film arrived as a defining moment in American independent cinema, weaving three interconnected crime stories through a fractured, nonlinear structure. Its dialogue, performances, and cultural references reshaped what mainstream audiences expected from genre filmmaking, and it remains one of the most studied and referenced films of its decade.

This cell, titled Vincent Vega and Mia Wallace, captures three frames from the Jack Rabbit Slim's sequence, one of the film's most iconic settings. Mia Wallace and Vincent Vega are seen seated together at the restaurant table, the colorful interior lighting of the diner visible behind them. The progression across the three frames preserves a quiet, charged moment between the two characters as the scene unfolds.

This original motion picture film element has been examined and authenticated by Crown Grading in partnership with National Film Vault, and encapsulated for archival preservation.
