Toei Animation released Saint Seiya: Legend of Crimson Youth in July 1988 as the third theatrical entry in the Saint Seiya franchise, capitalizing on the television series at the height of its popularity in Japan. Directed by Shigeyasu Yamauchi, the film introduced the Corona Saints as antagonists and pushed the visual ambition of the property further than the weekly broadcast format allowed, with extended sequences built around the series' signature cosmos energy aesthetic.

This three-frame run, titled Corona Saints by the operator, captures a sustained moment from what appears to be a high-intensity energy confrontation, with two armored figures held within an expanding golden field. The slight positional drift across the consecutive frames preserves the sense of motion inherent to the sequence, offering a rare look at how the animators constructed momentum within a single luminous composition.
