Toei Animation's Saint Seiya premiered on TV Asahi in October 1986, adapting Masami Kurumada's manga into one of the defining action series of the late Showa era. The production ran for 114 episodes and established a visual language for armored heroes that influenced an entire generation of anime. Its international broadcast across Latin America and Europe built a devoted following that endures decades later, making original production cels from the series genuinely significant artifacts of 1980s Japanese animation.

This cell captures Andromeda Shun in his signature Andromeda Cloth, rendered across sequential frames that document the fluid animation of his nebula chains against a deep purple starfield. The third composition shifts perspective to bring the chains into the foreground, with rocky terrain appearing at the right edge to ground the cosmic setting. Together the frames preserve a rare look at how Toei's animators constructed Shun's distinctive fighting style through careful, deliberate movement across the 35mm format.
