Labyrinth arrived in 1986 from Jim Henson Productions and TriStar Pictures, directed by Jim Henson with George Lucas producing. A singular meeting of puppetry, practical effects, and fantasy storytelling, the film found its deepest audience in the years following its modest theatrical run, becoming a defining touchstone of imaginative cinema for an entire generation.
