FILM NOTES

Digimon: The Movie arrived in North American theaters in October 2000, distributed by Fox Kids and produced through a collaboration between Toei Animation and Saban Entertainment. Assembled from three separate Japanese shorts, the film rode the peak of the late-nineties digital monster craze and remains a defining artifact of that era's anime-to-Western-market pipeline, drawing a generation of young audiences into theatrical animation.

This cell captures Diaboromon across three sequential frames, each presenting the villain from a dramatic low angle against a lattice or tower structure. The slight motion variation between frames preserves a rare sense of movement, offering a glimpse into the hand-drawn animation process behind one of the film's most imposing figures.

This original motion picture film element has been examined and authenticated by Crown Grading in partnership with National Film Vault, and encapsulated for archival preservation.
