DreamWorks Animation released Shrek in May 2001, marking a turning point in computer-animated feature filmmaking. Directed by Andrew Adamson and Vicky Jenson, the film challenged Disney's long dominance of the animated fairy tale and went on to win the first Academy Award for Best Animated Feature. Its irreverent humor and technical ambition made it a defining work of early digital cinema.

This 35mm cell, titled Fiona Helping Shrek, captures a quiet moment between the two central characters in an outdoor woodland setting. Fiona is positioned below Shrek, attending to him in what reads as a gesture of care. The cell includes two duplicate frames of the same moment, preserving a brief but meaningful exchange between the ogre and the princess.
