DreamWorks Animation released Shrek in May 2001, marking a pivotal moment in computer-animated filmmaking and signaling a genuine challenge to Pixar's dominance of the medium. Produced in partnership with PDI, the film became a cultural phenomenon and launched one of animation's most successful franchises, winning the inaugural Academy Award for Best Animated Feature.

This cell, titled Trailer End Card, captures three consecutive frames from the theatrical teaser trailer's closing title card. Each frame presents the same composition: two figures rendered as silhouettes against a full moon, accompanied by the release window text reading MAY 2001 and the URL WWW.SHREK.COM, with the DreamWorks and PDI studio logos anchoring the image.
