Ghostbusters II arrived in June 1989 from Columbia Pictures, reuniting the original cast five years after the first film became a defining comedy of the decade. Directed again by Ivan Reitman, the sequel brought the team back to a New York overrun by psychic slime and a malevolent painting, earning strong box office returns and cementing the franchise as a cultural touchstone of late-eighties popular cinema.

This three-frame run captures Peter, Egon, Raymond, and Louis in what appears to be a formal interior — likely the courtroom sequence early in the film — figures rendered small beneath an ornate ceiling fixture. The consecutive framing offers a rare sense of motion across the strip, and the slight burn visible at the right edge of the third frame is a natural artifact of the original theatrical print.
