Columbia Pictures released Ghostbusters II in June 1989, reuniting the original cast five years after the first film became a defining comedy of the decade. Directed again by Ivan Reitman, the sequel brought the team back to a New York overrun by a river of psychoreactive slime beneath the city streets. It performed well at the box office and remains a genuine artifact of late-eighties studio filmmaking.

This cell, titled Louis and Janine, captures a quiet two-shot moment between Louis Tully and Janine Melnitz, played by Rick Moranis and Annie Potts. Three consecutive frames hold the same composition, Louis in his plaid jacket and glasses angled toward camera while Janine leans in from above, preserving a small, character-driven exchange between two of the film's most enduring supporting figures.
