Ghostbusters II arrived in the summer of 1989 from Columbia Pictures, reuniting the original cast five years after the first film became a defining comedy of the decade. Directed again by Ivan Reitman, the sequel leaned into the ensemble dynamic while New York City faced a new supernatural threat. It remains a genuine artifact of late-eighties blockbuster filmmaking, capturing a particular moment in studio comedy before the genre shifted dramatically into the nineties.

This cell, titled Janine and Louis, presents three consecutive frames of a warm two-shot featuring Janine Melnitz and Louis Tully, played by Annie Potts and Rick Moranis respectively. The pair share the frame in close proximity, both wearing their signature glasses, bathed in soft interior light. A circular lens artifact appears on the right edge of the third frame, evidence of the print's physical history.
