Columbia Pictures released Ghostbusters II in June 1989, reuniting the original cast five years after the first film became a defining comedy of the decade. Directed again by Ivan Reitman, the sequel brought the team back to New York to face a river of psychoreactive slime beneath the city. While it never quite matched the cultural lightning of its predecessor, it remains a genuine artifact of late-eighties studio filmmaking and a fond chapter in the franchise.

This three-frame cell, titled Louis and Janine, captures Rick Moranis and Annie Potts sharing the screen as the endearingly awkward Louis Tully and Janine Melnitz. Their scenes together gave the sequel some of its warmest moments, and having both characters present across all three frames makes this a satisfying representation of that pairing.
