Columbia Pictures released Ghostbusters II in June 1989, reuniting the original creative team five years after the first film became one of the highest-grossing comedies in history. Directed again by Ivan Reitman, the sequel brought back the core cast and leaned into the franchise's established mythology while introducing new supernatural threats beneath New York City. It remains a significant artifact of late-1980s blockbuster filmmaking and popular culture.

Harold Ramis as Egon Spengler, Bill Murray as Peter Venkman, Dan Aykroyd as Ray Stantz, and Ernie Hudson as Winston Zeddemore appear across three consecutive frames, offering a rare complete-team composition on 35mm.
