Columbia Pictures released Ghostbusters II in June 1989, reuniting the original cast under director Ivan Reitman for the long-awaited sequel to the 1984 blockbuster. The film arrived at the height of Ghostbusters merchandising and cultural saturation, and its animated sequences bridged the theatrical release with the beloved Saturday morning cartoon series that had kept the franchise alive through the intervening years.

This cell, titled No Ghost Logo, captures three sequential frames of Slimer — known to fans of the animated series as Mooglie — caught mid-motion against a dark background, his translucent form shifting slightly across each frame. The progression documents genuine animation movement, offering a rare glimpse into the fluid, hand-drawn character work that defined the Ghostbusters universe beyond live action.
