Columbia Pictures released Ghostbusters II in June 1989, reuniting the original cast five years after the first film became a cultural phenomenon. Directed again by Ivan Reitman, the sequel arrived during a peak era for big-budget summer comedies and remains a time capsule of late-1980s New York City, its production design and humor firmly rooted in that particular moment in American popular filmmaking.

This cell, titled Dr. Peter Venkman and Winston Zeddemore, captures Bill Murray and Ernie Hudson sharing the frame across three consecutive images from what appears to be a warmly lit nighttime scene. The golden and neon tones in the background give the frames a distinctly atmospheric quality, and the tight, continuous framing makes this a compelling document of two of the film's central characters in close company.
