Warner Bros. released Beetlejuice in March 1988, and Tim Burton's darkly comic fantasy became one of the defining studio pictures of the decade. Working from a script by Michael McDowell and Larry Wilson, Burton balanced practical effects, Danny Elfman's score, and a cast of committed performers to produce a film that established his signature aesthetic and remains a touchstone of late-eighties American cinema.

This cell, titled Beetlejuice, Barbara and Adam, captures three consecutive frames from a single interior scene featuring Beetlejuice as played by Michael Keaton alongside Barbara Maitland (Geena Davis) and Adam Maitland (Alec Baldwin). Keaton's black-and-white striped suit anchors each frame, with the theatrical lighting and consistent staging across all three images giving the cell a strong sense of cinematic continuity.
