Paramount Pictures released Top Secret! in June 1984, the third feature from the writing and directing team of Jim Abrahams, David Zucker, and Jerry Zucker following their breakthrough with Airplane! The film blends Cold War spy parody with affectionate send-ups of 1960s rock musicals, drawing on an unusually wide range of cinematic and cultural references. Though it performed modestly at the domestic box office, it has earned a devoted following over the decades as a showcase for Val Kilmer's comedic debut.

This encapsulated set presents three frames from the scene featuring Nick Rivers and Hillary Flammond, drawn from the film's extended parody of the morning farewell sequence in Zeffirelli's Romeo and Juliet.
