Top Secret! was released by Paramount Pictures in June 1984, directed by the Zucker-Abrahams-Zucker team fresh off their Airplane! success. The film is a loving parody of both Cold War spy thrillers and Elvis-era musical pictures, and it remains a cult touchstone of 1980s American comedy filmmaking.
