Universal Pictures released Jurassic Park in June 1993, directed by Steven Spielberg and based on Michael Crichton's novel. The film redefined visual effects through groundbreaking CGI and practical animatronics, becoming the highest-grossing film of its time and fundamentally changing how studios approached large-scale blockbuster production.
