Lilo & Stitch arrived in June 2002 from Walt Disney Feature Animation, produced at the studio's Florida facility rather than the main Burbank lot. The film stood apart from the era's trend toward CGI spectacle, leaning into hand-drawn watercolor backgrounds and an intimate story about family and belonging. It became a genuine cultural touchstone, earning strong critical and commercial reception and launching a franchise that endured well beyond its initial release.

This cell carries the confirmed title Stitch and presents Experiment 626 in one of the film's most iconic settings — riding a surfboard against an open Hawaiian sky, viewed from below. The three frames advance through the same shot in close succession, capturing the movement of clouds and board in subtle progression, offering a clean and recognizable portrait of the character in his adopted island element.
