Lilo & Stitch arrived in June 2002 from Walt Disney Feature Animation, produced at the studio's Florida facility rather than the main Burbank lot. The film marked a deliberate return to hand-drawn character work and intimate storytelling at a moment when computer-generated animation dominated the industry. Its Hawaiian setting, unconventional family themes, and genuine emotional weight earned it both critical respect and strong box office returns, making it one of the more enduring Disney releases of that decade.

This three-frame strip, titled Stitch and David, captures consecutive moments from what appears to be a coastal or beach scene, with open blue sky filling the background. Stitch is visible across all three frames, with subtle positional shifts between each exposure suggesting natural movement within a single continuous shot. The sequential nature of the frames offers a rare glimpse into the rhythm of the animation as it existed on the original release print.
