Edward Scissorhands was released by 20th Century Fox in November 1990, directed by Tim Burton and starring Johnny Depp and Winona Ryder. A defining work of early-1990s American fantasy filmmaking, it marked Burton's most personal studio production and cemented his visual language of gothic whimsy against suburban conformity. The film's production design and Danny Elfman score gave it an enduring cultural presence well beyond its initial release.

This cell, titled Edward Scissorhands, presents three consecutive 35mm frames from what appears to be the film's celebrated ice dance sequence, capturing a female figure in blue surrounded by cascading water droplets and ice particles, photographed from a low angle. The frames share consistent composition and movement, offering a rare look at the fluid, dreamlike quality Burton and cinematographer Stefan Czapsky brought to one of the film's most iconic moments.
