Pixar Animation Studios released Cars 2 in June 2011, the twelfth feature from the studio and a direct sequel to the beloved 2006 original. Departing from Radiator Springs, the film expanded its world into an international spy thriller framework, sending its characters across global racing circuits. Though critically mixed at the time, it remains a significant entry in Pixar's theatrical run and a genuine artifact of early 2010s studio animation.

This cell captures Lightning McQueen within a pit stop or racing paddock environment, consistent with the film's competitive racing sequences. Background signage reading "Go" and "Torque" grounds the frame firmly in the racing world. Spanning three consecutive frames from a single shot, the cell offers a rare glimpse of the animation's continuity at the 35mm photochemical level.
