Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies released The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie in November 2004, bringing the beloved animated television series to the big screen for the first time. Directed by series creator Stephen Hillenburg, the film blended the show's absurdist coastal humour with a genuine road-trip adventure, earning strong box office returns and cementing SpongeBob's place in popular culture beyond television.

This cell, titled SpongeBob SquarePants and Customer, captures three consecutive frames from a single shot set within a stylised interior environment. SpongeBob SquarePants is clearly visible in his familiar square form and dark trousers, the repeated frames offering a rare window into the rhythm of the original 35mm print as it moved through the projector.
