Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies released The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie in November 2004, bringing the beloved animated television series to theatrical audiences for the first time. Directed by series creator Stephen Hillenburg, the film marked a deliberate creative milestone, originally intended as a conclusion to the show. Its blend of irreverent humor and surprisingly earnest storytelling earned it a lasting place in early 2000s animation.

This cell, titled Mr. Krabs, captures a sequence of continuous action inside the Krusty Krab, where Mr. Krabs moves with characteristic energy before a crowd of customers against the restaurant's distinctive blue floral wallpaper. The third frame introduces Plankton into the scene, placing the two longtime rivals within the same moment of the story.
