New Line Cinema's The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring arrived in December 2001, adapting the first volume of J.R.R. Tolkien's beloved trilogy. Directed by Peter Jackson, the film became a landmark of modern fantasy cinema and launched one of the most celebrated trilogies in Hollywood history. Its theatrical trailer generated enormous anticipation, introducing audiences to Middle-earth through sweeping imagery and Galadriel's haunting opening narration.
