Warner Bros. released the live-action Scooby-Doo in June 2002, marking the first major theatrical adaptation of Hanna-Barbera's beloved animated franchise. Directed by Raja Gosnell and produced by Charles Roven, the film blended practical effects with early-2000s CGI to bring the Mystery Inc. gang to life, arriving at a moment when studio nostalgia properties were finding renewed commercial footing.
