Warner Bros. released Scooby-Doo in the summer of 2002, bringing the beloved Hanna-Barbera animated franchise into live-action for the first time. Directed by Raja Gosnell, the film blended practical production with early-generation CGI to realize its cartoon characters for a new generation. It became a genuine box office success and marked a turning point in studio confidence around hybrid animation-live action features.
