FILM NOTES

Warner Bros. released Scooby-Doo in the summer of 2002, bringing the beloved Hanna-Barbera animated franchise into live-action for the first time. Directed by Raja Gosnell, the film blended practical effects with early-era CGI to realize the Mystery Inc. gang for a new generation. Its theatrical run marked a significant moment in the translation of classic animation properties to mainstream Hollywood production.

This cell captures Scooby-Doo, voiced by Neil Fanning, across three consecutive frames from what appears to be a production-heavy environment filled with mechanical and prop elements. The large curved form of Scooby's snout dominates the lower portion of the frame, offering an unusually close and textured look at the CGI character as rendered on 35mm film.

This original motion picture film element has been examined and authenticated by Crown Grading in partnership with National Film Vault, and encapsulated for archival preservation.
