Warner Bros. released Scooby-Doo in the summer of 2002, bringing the beloved Hanna-Barbera animated series to live-action for the first time. Directed by Raja Gosnell, the film drew enormous anticipation from audiences who had grown up with the Mystery Inc. gang, and its theatrical trailer circulated widely ahead of a strong box office debut. The production marked a notable moment in early 2000s family comedy filmmaking.
