Warner Bros. released the live-action Scooby-Doo in June 2002, bringing the long-running Hanna-Barbera animated franchise to theaters for the first time as a feature film. Directed by Raja Gosnell, the production leaned into a self-aware, irreverent tone that appealed to audiences who had grown up with the original cartoon.
