FILM NOTES

Warner Bros. released Scooby-Doo in the summer of 2002, bringing the beloved Hanna-Barbera animated franchise into live-action for the first time. Directed by Raja Gosnell, the film blended practical sets with early-2000s CGI to realize the Mystery Inc. gang on screen, with Neil Fanning providing the voice and motion-capture foundation for the title character. It became a genuine box-office success and marked a notable moment in the wave of animated-property adaptations that defined that era.

This cell captures Scooby-Doo mid-action, surrounded by what appears to be ride machinery or mechanical equipment consistent with the film's Spooky Island setting. Across three nearly identical frames, the moment holds in tight continuity, preserving a brief but kinetic slice of Neil Fanning's CGI performance as the iconic Great Dane.

This original motion picture film element has been examined and authenticated by Crown Grading in partnership with National Film Vault, and encapsulated for archival preservation.
