FILM NOTES

Warner Bros. released Scooby-Doo in June 2002, bringing the long-running Hanna-Barbera animated franchise into live-action for the first time. The film marked a significant moment in early digital character integration, with Neil Fanning providing the voice and performance foundation for a fully CGI Scooby-Doo rendered alongside practical sets and live actors. It became a substantial summer box office success and remains a touchstone of early 2000s family filmmaking.

These frames capture Scooby-Doo, voiced by Neil Fanning, in two distinct moments from the trailer. The first shows the CGI character beside a figure in ornate costume, partially cropped at the strip's edge. The second and third frames present a close composition of Scooby-Doo seated near a stone altar prop, gazing upward as unseen hands reach into frame from above.

This original motion picture film element has been examined and authenticated by Crown Grading in partnership with National Film Vault, and encapsulated for archival preservation.
