Warner Bros. released the live-action Scooby-Doo in June 2002, bringing Hanna-Barbera's beloved animated franchise to theaters for the first time with a flesh-and-blood cast. The film marked a cultural touchstone for a generation raised on the cartoon, and its theatrical trailer circulated widely on 35mm prints ahead of the summer season.
This cell, titled Mystery Inc. Team, preserves three consecutive frames from an overhead shot capturing the complete ensemble: Fred Jones, Daphne Blake, Velma Dinkley, and Shaggy Rogers arranged around Scooby-Doo, portrayed respectively by Freddie Prinze Jr., Sarah Michelle Gellar, Linda Cardellini, Matthew Lillard, and Neil Fanning. The bird's-eye composition unites all five principals in a single frame, a rare configuration on original 35mm trailer footage.
