Warner Bros. released the live-action Scooby-Doo in June 2002, bringing Hanna-Barbera's beloved animated franchise to theaters for the first time with a flesh-and-blood cast. Directed by Raja Gosnell, the film became a genuine summer hit and marked a cultural moment when late-1990s nostalgia for Saturday-morning cartoons reached mainstream cinema.
