Warner Bros. released Scooby-Doo in the summer of 2002, bringing the beloved Hanna-Barbera animated series to live-action for the first time. Directed by Raja Gosnell, the film balanced nostalgia for longtime fans with broad family appeal, and its promotional materials circulated widely in 35mm across cinema chains before the feature's theatrical run.
