FILM NOTES

The 2002 live-action Scooby-Doo, produced by Warner Bros. and directed by Raja Gosnell, marked the first major theatrical adaptation of Hanna-Barbera's beloved animated franchise. Released in June of that year, the film drew enormous audiences on the strength of nostalgia and a cast that leaned into the source material's campy spirit. It remains a genuine cultural artifact of early 2000s studio filmmaking, bridging Saturday morning cartoon memory with live-action spectacle.

This cell, titled Fred and Velma, captures Freddie Prinze Jr. and Linda Cardellini in consecutive frames from a single shared moment, the two characters positioned together against a dark background. Fred's blue shirt and Velma's orange turtleneck with glasses are immediately recognizable to any fan of the property. The slight exposure variation across the three frames offers a rare glimpse into the subtle rhythm of 35mm theatrical trailer footage.
