Columbia Pictures released the live-action Scooby-Doo in June 2002, bringing Hanna-Barbera's beloved animated mystery franchise to the screen for the first time in this format. Directed by Raja Gosnell and produced by Warner Bros. in association with Atlas Entertainment, the film drew a generation of fans raised on the original cartoon and introduced the property to younger audiences. Its theatrical trailer circulated widely on 35mm prints ahead of the summer season, making surviving trailer cells relatively uncommon.

This cell captures Freddie Prinze Jr. as Fred Jones, rendered in cool blue lighting against a dark, stylised background. Shot from a low angle, the framing emphasises the character's iconic white and blue outfit, with the letters FRE partially visible across his chest. The repeated composition across three frames gives the cell a striking, almost rhythmic quality that reflects the trailer's bold visual design.
