FILM NOTES

Warner Bros. released Scooby-Doo in June 2002, bringing the beloved Hanna-Barbera animated franchise into live-action for the first time. Directed by Raja Gosnell, the film marked a significant cultural moment, translating a decades-old Saturday morning cartoon into a mainstream theatrical release. Neil Fanning provided the voice and motion-capture performance for the title character, and the production represented an early example of photorealistic CG character integration in a live-action family film.

This cell, titled Spooky Island, captures Scooby-Doo amid the resort setting central to the film's story. The three-frame sequence presents a consistent outdoor moment, with the prominent columns framing the scene and background activity suggesting the busy atmosphere of Spooky Island itself. A quiet piece of the film's most iconic location.
