Warner Bros. released the live-action Scooby-Doo in June 2002, bringing the long-running Hanna-Barbera animated franchise to theaters for the first time in a fully realized feature film. Directed by Raja Gosnell, the production leaned into its Saturday-morning roots while targeting a generation raised on the original cartoons. It became a genuine summer hit and remains a touchstone of early 2000s family cinema.
