Warner Bros. released the live-action Scooby-Doo in June 2002, bringing Hanna-Barbera's beloved animated franchise to theaters for the first time with a cast of recognizable faces and a fully computer-generated title character. The film arrived at a moment when studios were actively mining classic cartoons for theatrical adaptations, and its commercial success helped establish a template for that wave of productions. It remains a genuine cultural marker for a generation that grew up with the original series.
