Warner Bros. released The Matrix in March 1999, a science fiction landmark directed by the Wachowskis that reshaped the genre and popular culture alike. Blending cyberpunk philosophy, Hong Kong action choreography, and groundbreaking visual effects, the film introduced bullet-time photography to mainstream audiences and remains one of the most influential productions of its era.
This cell, titled Neo & Trinity, presents three frames from a visually striking sequence in which Neo and Trinity appear beneath a towering structure rendered with a vertical mirror effect, producing a symmetrical, kaleidoscopic composition. The repeated optical treatment across all three frames gives the strip a strong graphic consistency, making it a distinctive piece of 35mm material featuring Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss.
