The Lego Movie, released by Warner Bros. Pictures in February 2014, arrived as a genuine surprise in the animated feature landscape. Directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, the film blended irreverent humor with an unexpectedly sincere emotional core, earning widespread critical acclaim and strong commercial performance. It demonstrated that toy-brand cinema could carry real artistic ambition.
