Warner Bros. Pictures released The Lego Movie in February 2014, directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller. The film arrived as a genuine surprise, blending sharp satirical wit with sincere emotional storytelling inside a fully animated world built from recognizable plastic bricks. Its critical and commercial success reshaped expectations for what a property-based animated feature could accomplish, and its 35mm theatrical prints represent a brief window before digital projection became the near-universal standard.

This cell, titled Emmet - Construction Site, captures three consecutive frames from a single overhead shot looking down across a bustling Lego cityscape. Emmet Brickowski appears in the lower portion of the frame, positioned near yellow construction equipment.
