Phil Lord and Christopher Miller's The Lego Movie arrived from Warner Bros. Pictures in February 2014, a film that surprised audiences and critics alike by delivering genuine wit and emotional depth beneath its animated plastic surface. Working with Animal Logic, the directors crafted a visually inventive world that honored the tactile quality of physical Lego construction while pushing the boundaries of computer animation to mimic stop-motion imperfection.

This cell, titled Batman - Overhead, captures Will Arnett's Batman from a high angle, the frame filled with the character's distinctive silhouette against a tan and brown Lego brick surface. Orange flame and rocket elements surround him across three closely sequenced images, offering a dynamic overhead perspective that reflects the film's kinetic, brick-built visual language.
