Phil Lord and Christopher Miller's The Lego Movie arrived from Warner Bros. Animation in February 2014, a film that confounded expectations by delivering genuine wit and emotional weight beneath its toy-commercial premise. Working with a distinctive animated aesthetic that mimicked physical stop-motion, it became both a critical success and a cultural touchstone, demonstrating that animation aimed at families could carry real thematic ambition.
This cell, titled Batman, captures Will Arnett's scene-stealing portrayal of the Dark Knight across three consecutive frames from a single continuous shot. Batman's iconic bat chest logo anchors each frame, while an ornate golden object occupies the foreground against the film's characteristically dark, stylised Lego environment. The triple-frame repetition offers a rare sustained look at one of the film's most beloved supporting presences.
