Warner Bros. Pictures released The Lego Movie in February 2014, directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller. The film arrived as a genuine surprise, transforming a toy property into a sharp, visually inventive animated feature that earned widespread critical praise and strong commercial returns. Shot to resemble stop-motion animation while rendered digitally, it left a lasting mark on the animated film landscape of the decade.
