The Lego Movie arrived in February 2014 from Warner Bros. Pictures and directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, becoming an immediate cultural touchstone. Built entirely in computer-generated animation styled to resemble physical stop-motion brick photography, the film surprised critics and audiences alike with its layered humor and genuine emotional sincerity, grossing over 460 million dollars worldwide and establishing a franchise that continues today.
This cell, titled Emmet - Vitruvius - Wyldstyle, captures three consecutive 35mm frames from what appears to be an interior or urban LEGO environment. Emmet Brickowski occupies the foreground in his recognizable orange construction outfit, with Wyldstyle and Vitruvius present in the shared frame. The near-identical framing across all three exposures reflects the film's precisely controlled animation timing.
